Call for abstracts
Submission guidelines, structure, presentation formats and deadlines.
We invite abstracts from postgraduate students, researchers, academics, industry experts, policymakers and development partners working in any of the conference sub-themes.
Abstract submission guidelines
Authors should prepare abstracts to the following specifications:
- Maximum of 250 words
- Title in bold uppercase
- Name(s) of author(s)
- Institutional affiliation(s)
- Corresponding author’s email address and telephone number
- Structured as: Background, Objective, Methodology, Results, Conclusion
- Three to five keywords
How to submit
Create an account, complete your conference registration, then submit through the online form. You type the abstract directly into the structured fields — that typed text is what we review and what appears in the Book of Abstracts. The form counts words as you type and the 250-word limit is enforced when you submit.
Document format
Where a document is required, abstracts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), Times New Roman, 12-point, single line spacing, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Document upload is optional unless the committee requires it for this conference.

- Poster presentation
- Virtual presentation (where applicable)
Important dates
The conference runs 25–28 October 2026. The call-for-abstracts opening date, submission deadline, notification of acceptance and early-registration deadline are published on the home page as soon as the committee confirms them.
Review
Abstracts are peer reviewed. Reviewers do not see author names or affiliations, and authors do not see reviewer identities. You will be notified of the outcome by email.
